I’m writing this in a brain fog with a headache. 🙁
We stopped at Subway today for lunch. Haven’t eaten there for a long time. I checked the salads, the meats and the dressings before ordering. I ordered a chicken bacon spinach salad with most of the veggies and the southwest sauce.
20 minutes later the headache started. 30 minutes later it was time for Tylenol, which barely touched the headache.
I checked all of the ingredients again to make sure nothing was on the allergy list. Not an easy thing to do on a phone. Nothing should have caused a reaction.
And then I realized the person making my salad had made several sandwiches before my order. Split the bread, pat down the bread and then reach into the veggies with bread crumbs all over the gloves. This is the only explanation I have.
I will no longer be eating at Subway! Like ever!
I am excited to read a travel blog. Do you travel internationally? I travel for a living. Also will your blog be mostly about fast food chains, I haven’t been to one in over 20 years.
I heard that subway is to have gluten free bread again. Guess they should start with educating their employees.
